"Hey there! My name is Jess and this is my story. I have felt a deep connection to animals my whole life. When it came time to pick a career field, I took that passion and entered the world of animal care.  For over two years I managed a large kennel that housed both cats and dogs. I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with each fur baby that stayed in the boarding facility but wanted to take my knowledge further. So, in search of change I left Atlanta and moved closer to family in the beautiful city of St. Augustine. It was here that I began my training as a Veterinary Technician, a job I thrived in for years.. though I loved this job it still didn't feel like quite the right match. Taking note of the high stress levels of boarding facilities, I began researching the benefits of having your pet cared for within their own homes. With a leap of faith, I took my valuable experience and started Golden Hour Pets LLC. This journey has proven to be my best one yet. Through pet sitting and dog walking, I've added both animals and people to my family. I place importance on trust, reliability and having fun!"

Hi! I’m Amanda, 

I am in my fourth year of working with animals. I have always been passionate about animals and love spending time with them! I first started walking dogs for others when I was about 10 years old in my childhood neighborhood. I did this because I wanted to get to know all the dogs in my neighborhood! As I got older, this passion grew. Now, I work to provide the best care, and treat all the animals I work with as if they were my own!
